How Sound Healing Helped Me Find My Way Home
Over the past few years, my life completely changed. I left a marriage, navigated a divorce, divided a home, and all the while ran my own business trying to rebuild and reimagine a life that felt more aligned with who I truly was.
Looking back, I was starting from scratch. It was terrifying, emotional, and often overwhelming. But deep down, I knew I had to follow this path even if I didn’t quite know where it would lead.
A spiritual mentor once told me: "I think sound bowls would really work for you." For a long time, I resisted. Something in me wasn’t ready to receive. That changed in 2021, when everything cracked open and my heart finally allowed sound in.
During the chaos, sound healing became my sanctuary. In my private sessions, I was elevated into a frequency of love, hope, and deep peace. As an astrologer, I began aligning my sound baths with the lunar cycle and my own birth chart particularly under the power of the full moon.
Each full moon became a time to release, reconnect, and reset. The outside noise both literal and emotional would simply melt away, replaced by a deep sense of stillness.
For someone like me, with a million tabs open in my mind at any one time, the bowls brought me into a meditative state I’d never reached before.
It wasn’t long before I followed the call and trained to become a Reiki-infused Sound Healing Practitioner. Now, when I feel stuck, I sit with my singing bowls, and they bring me back to my bones, to my breath, to my soul.
