Eclipses are a time to let go and step inwards—one of the most challenging yet powerful parts of the creation process. Change is hard, but it’s also where new opportunities lie. I'm here to show you how to use this time to activate meaningful transformation in your life.





The Astrological Meaning of Eclipses


The word eclipse comes from the Greek ékleipsis, meaning "abandonment" or "failure to appear," symbolising the temporary disappearance of the Sun or Moon. Throughout history, eclipses have represented moments of significant change and transformation.


Astrologically, eclipses are times of revelation when hidden truths rise to the surface, sparking deep shifts and calling us to realign with our authentic selves. They invite us to release old habits, patterns, or fears and step boldly into a new chapter—an invitation to renewal.


The Power of Letting Go


By letting go, we connect to the shadow side that’s been holding us back from stepping fully into our light. True enlightenment is found in both light and dark—we need both to grow.


This is a potent time to get clear on where you’re holding yourself back, projecting fears, and mirroring your inner work in your outer world. Taking accountability and asking where you could show up differently will invite powerful change.


Eclipses often bring endings—whether that’s leaving a job that no longer serves you, letting go of toxic relationships, or shedding old behaviours and habits that feel misaligned. But with every ending comes a new beginning.


New doors are waiting for you. Opportunities you never even knew existed are just around the corner.

Try This Eclipse Ritual


  1. Write down your goal, then reflect on the gap between your current reality and where you want to be.

  2. Observe your daily routine and interactions without judgment. What feels good, and what feels forced?

  3. What have you been thinking of letting go of?

  4. Where have you handed over responsibility for your life? What leadership do you feel inspired to take back?

  5. Each day, notice how you feel. Does it align with a sense of fulfilment and purpose? What changes can you make to step into the feeling you desire?


This is a time to get curious and trust your intuition. Make space to simply be with yourself and your thoughts. What shifts are you feeling coming for you this Eclipse season?





Rebirth


During eclipse season, we witness the powerful cycles of collapse and unfolding. Just like a star is born through the collapse of a nebula, we too must learn to let go and trust in our ability to create something magnificent.


When you cling to an older version of yourself, believing that what you truly want might not come, you’re caught in a lack mindset. Within that belief, the gap between you and your manifestation widens.


Yet, the very thing you need is already within you. The collapse wouldn’t exist without the very thing you are creating.


You have the power to choose, let go of doubt, and devote yourself to your desires. The polarity within you now shows you the path to what you want. It’s just a matter of refocusing your mindset, allowing yourself to unfold and collapse into your rebirth during this transformative eclipse season.


Trust that the universe is delivering what you truly desire because it wants you, too.
